There are many important races in this general election, including two open seats on the Goleta School Board.
To vote for Goleta School Board Members, you must live in the Goleta Union School District (GUSD).
The GUSD serves the Goleta valley, a community of 80,000 people that includes the newly formed City of Goleta and a large unincorporated area. The valley lies between the Santa Ynez Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, and is adjacent to the City of Santa Barbara, California.

You must be registered to vote in order to vote. The deadline to register to vote for the November 2 election is October 18. You can register to vote online.
You can apply online for a permanent absentee ballot.
