EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
I graduated from Stanford University where I studied computer science and I have a law degree from the University of Chicago Law School. Teaching government and journalism in a public high school provided me with a deeper understanding of the classroom needs of students and teachers. Having served as executive director and board chair of nonprofit organizations, I have experience making hard budgetary choices with limited resources while achieving positive long-term results.
PRIORITIES:
I will promote fiscal responsibility to ensure that all children in our schools receive a high-quality education and have an opportunity to excel. As your school board member, I will listen, encourage diverse and meaningful participation, ask questions, respect others, and conduct business with honesty, efficiency, and integrity.
